– Description: This campaign provided food to doctors, nurses, and others at the Mother Teresa University Hospital Center in Tirana during the initial weeks of the pandemic. Together with Baboon Delivery, the GAF provided over 1000 meals for 12 days to healthcare workers, police, and others serving on the frontlines during the initial months of Covid-19 crisis. Over 100 Albanian diaspora donors contributed an average of $55 per donor. Participating restaurants included Bufej, Gusto Bistro, Gusta la Puglia Tirana, and New York – Tirana Bagels.
